Courtney Keys has been training and competing in dog agility since 2008 and judging since 2012. She has judged all over the United States as well as in Mexico and Costa Rica.

Courtney currently runs Vanessa Bet, an English cocker spaniel, in USDAA and AKC events.
Courtney's agility journey began with Thor, a rescued dachshund. In 2010, she got her Cardigan Welsh corgi, Francine, who would turn out to be an amazing and accomplished partner in the sport. Among Fran's many achievements, she was the 2014 UKI U.S. Open National Finals winner at 8", the 2017 USDAA Performance Speed Jumping champion at 8", and a member of IFCS Team USA in 2015. She has 11 titling championships in AKC, USDAA and UKI competition.
Courtney is forever grateful for this little dog who loved to shine at the big events and took her everywhere. Fran retired from agility in 2023 at the age of 13 after winning the Veterans Overall event at the USDAA Wild West Regional.
Rounding out the pack is Walter, another rescue, who helped Courtney change her entire approach to training and trialing. Walter doesn't love to compete in agility, so he enjoys a life of hikes, swims, snacks, and cuddles, and entertains both his canine sisters in his spare time.
